What a week it has been! We got settled into our friends’ home, The Castanos. They were so kind to offer for us to stay with them for Spring Training. It has been a blast being with another teammate and baseball family. The Castanos live full time in Jupiter, FL so they are able to stay home an extra month before season starts early April! They have an 8-month old little boy named Charles (Charlie) Castano and he may just be the smiliest baby I have ever met.

Our first date was Tuesday 🙂 We went to Lucky Shucks for dinner, followed by a drive along the beach, some local ice cream, and finished at Sprouts to pick up some more groceries.

I also started working remotely! I work for The City of Sugar Hill in Gwinnett County, GA and have been transitioned to a part-time remote employee to allow me to travel with Nicholas. What a blessing! Luckily, I am able to make trips home and do some in-office work when i can
